Jumog Waterfall

  • Entrance: IDR 20k (weekends IDR 25k).
  • Getting there: 15 min down from Tawangmangu market, 500 stairs (easy).

Grojogan Sewu Waterfall (“Thousand Waterfalls”)

Panjang Island (Jepara)

  • Transport hub: Easy to reach Jepara from Semarang (2h) & Yogyakarta (4–5h by bus).
  • Tickets: Buy directly at the port; boats leave when enough passengers.

Nusa Kambangan Island

  • Access: Boats from Cilacap → only to permitted tourist zones (Karang Pandan area).
  • Where to start: Cilacap city; easiest access from Yogyakarta (5h) or Purwokerto (2h).
  • Permits: Often included in guided boat packages; independent travel limited.
  • Timing: Visit on weekdays for empty beaches; avoid late afternoon (return boats end early).
  • Practical tips: No shops on island; strong waves on south side; follow local guides’ routes only.
